I've been a filmmaker for over 30 years.
In 2010, after competing & winning in several 48 hour movie making competitions, I created the first version of this game
using index cards as a tool to quickly create scripts for micro budget movies. ​
The Muse And I...
The Idea Was Simple
I asked myself,
What People & Locations Do I Have Access To? What Are The Fundamental Stories We Tell?
​
The answer to those questions created three decks of cards: CHARACTER, LOCATION & STORY.
I created an index card for every character I could bring to life & every location I had access to.
​
Then, I leveraged all my education & screenplay writing experience
to generate provocative descriptors for the most basic stories that unfold on screen.
To play, I drew cards from those three decks according to my production constraints & looked at them
as a puzzle to be solved into an all-original movie idea.

After years of play testing I've added 2 more decks, the Muse & Element decks, making this a powerful tool for anyone aspiring to create an original movie idea.

SO HERE'S THE PLAN
1000 copies is a lot to sell for an un-established card game so we are going to establish it together.

Step 1: Tournament​
In March of 2025 the first-ever Muse Tournament will kickoff. Recruited players will gather & play the first run of the game as teams in a publicly accessible gaming venue.
During the tournament we will gather video, sound bites & stills to use for promotional purposes. We will also expand our email list with the curious public as the tournament unfolds. It's going to be fun!

Step 2: Show
In August of 2025 the first season of the Muse YouTube Show will premiere online in tandem with a public screening. This show will feature several teams of creative influencers playing the game in real-time using a multi-camera table-game format. You get to see the game in action with established filmmakers & creators. It's like watching a movie being born in front of your eyes. This will expand interest to a much broader market & expand the email list with 'calls to action' to spread the word for the sale in October.

Step 3: Crowdsale
In the first week of October 2025 we will leverage our email list, YouTube Channel & other social media assets to spread the word about the approaching sale so folks are chomping at the bit to get their hands on this game.
